Opening Friday: Ryry's Ultimate Bodega Pop-Up Shop!
Vancouver artist Ryan Smith and 01 Magazine are launching their concept pop-up shop this Friday, June 1st at 8 East Cordova. Designed to function as a convenience store bodega, the space will be filled with everything you need from ashtrays to photocopies (as well as local art and music), this project references the often overlooked aesthetic of the traditional bodega and features the efforts of many Vancouver artists. It's going to be very cool - trust us!

Gather Pop-Up Shop!
Cargoh, a social marketplace for all things art and design, is creating their very first pop-up shop in the heart of Gastown! The 3-day pop up, Gather, will host everything from fashion to food, popsicles to pottery, music to mixology.
Do you want to be a vendor? The deadline is coming up on Friday, June 8th.
This pop up shop will also offer workshops where you can spend the afternoon learning how to do something you've always wanted to try, while enjoying a frosty cold one. Stay tuned for the list of workshops being announced in the next few weeks. There might just be anything from making your own terrarium to a walking photography class, screen printing and mixology (you know you've always wanted to know how to make a proper Brooklyn).
