Uniques

Merrily Bennett, owner of the tiny shop, Uniques-Colletables with Imagination, buys anything unusual, interesting and "at a good price."
As a result of her "anything I like, I buy" philosophy, her window, like the shop's interior, is an artistic jumble of odds and ends. Except variety, from lacquered, dried breads to picture frames, from dolls, fans and mirrors to more major pieces of furniture. The stock changes constantly and nothing is impossible here.
Bennett refuses to carry poor quality items and the description of the shop as eclectic should not suggest that it is a junk store of which Vancouver has many. Each item has been carefully chosen and is in good condition; the energetic Bennett combs auctions and garage sales to find her bits and pieces and while there, keeps her eyes open for more significant antique objects and furniture.
It is often oddball accessories and incidental touches which the decorator finds hardest to locate and in this whimsical little shop such finds are everywhere.
